Installing add-ons in Tranz Railroad Simulator comes down to installing CDP files or add-on folders. In all cases, the use of Content Manager is assumed. Different versions of this program may differ in appearance and the need to make a commit.
Instructions
Step 1
Start the game using the launcher and point to Content to perform the operation to launch the Content Manager application
Step 2
Select the Import CDPs command from the File menu of the top toolbar of the program window and specify the path to the required add-on files in CDP format. An alternative way to import the required files is to drag and drop the required add-on files into the Content Manager window
Step 3
Click the "Open" button and control the installation process in the Installing Content window that opens.
Step 4
Wait for the Task Comple dialog box to appear, signaling the completion of the installation of the selected add-ons, and verify that the installed files are displayed in the Open for Edit tab
Step 5
Select Import Contetnt from the File menu in the top toolbar of the Content Manager window and specify the path to the folders containing the add-ons you want to install the selected add-ons from the folders.
Step 6
Click OK and wait for the installation to complete.
Step 7
Call the context menu of the installed add-on files by clicking the right mouse button and select the Edit item in the drop-down menu.
Step 8
Go to Commit and wait for the texture to be converted to texture format. (the process can take quite a long period of time). An indicator of the completion of the conversion operation will be the transition of the tool icon to inactive mode, the disappearance of the selected add-on from the Open for Edit tab, and reappearance in the Today and Installed tabs
Step 9
Call the context menu of the installed add-on by clicking the right mouse button when a yellow icon with a question symbol is displayed, demonstrating the lack of some add-on elements and specify the View Dependancies command
Step 10
Identify the missing add-on components and install them.
