Instructions

Step 1

If your computer has an English version of the operating system, use the command line and enter the following command in it: net user Administrator / active: yes. Press the Enter key. After that, go to the computer management menu by right-clicking on it. Select the local users and groups group, then Users. On the Administrator user in the properties, uncheck the menu item responsible for deactivating it. Apply changes.

Step 2

If you have a Russian version of the operating system installed, use the same sequence, except for the command written in the line. Paste the following text into it: net user Administrator / active: yes. Then press Enter as well and follow the above sequence exactly.

Step 3

Log into the computer using an account with administrator rights. To do this, click on the "Start" button and select the user change in the options. Click in the selection of accounts on the one that has administrator rights (usually it is signed), and log in. Please note that if a password was previously set for it, you will need to enter it again.

Step 4

In order to perform any action requiring advanced features, click on the shortcut of the software utility you are running and select "Run as Administrator", then enter the password, if necessary. If you have not set a password earlier, leave the field for entering it blank.

Step 5

Never forget the passwords you enter, as they are very difficult to recover, in most cases even impossible. Better write them down separately. Do not log into other people's computers under an administrator account without first asking for permission from the owner.
