Various crashes can occur while working with the Windows operating system. If the problem is related to disabling or deleting the default Administrator account, you need to reactivate it.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn on your computer or laptop. Log on to the Windows Seven (Vista) operating system using any account that has administrator rights.
Step 2
Press the Win button to open the Start menu. Right-click on the "Computer" icon and select "Manage". Wait a while for the menu with the heading "Computer Management" to launch.
Step 3
Expand the Utilities menu located in the left column of the active window. Now do this with the Local Users and Groups item. Left-click on the "Users" directory.
Step 4
Existing accounts will be displayed in the right column. Right-click on the "Administrator" account and select "Properties". After launching the new menu, uncheck the "Disable account" item. Click the Apply button. Close the settings menu and restart your computer.
Step 5
If you prefer to use the management console to customize your computer, open the Start menu and search for cmd. Press the Enter key. Wait for the Windows console to open. You can also open the "Standard" directory and click on the "Command Line" icon.
Step 6
Enter the command net user Administrator / active: yes. Press the Enter key. If you are using an English-language version of the operating system, the command should look like this: net user Administrator / active: yes.
Step 7
To protect the operating system from hacking, it is recommended to use passwords for all accounts with administrator rights. Reopen the management console. Enter the command net user username password. Follow this procedure for all active accounts, or set passwords through the Account Management menu.
