Step 1
To do this, click Start "and select the" Run "button at the bottom. In the browse line, enter the word" regedit ", and click" OK. Before turning off check disk, check it completely. Open "My Computer", and right-click on the desired drive. Select "Properties" in the window. Find the "Service" tab and click on it. The window will display "Run Check". Click on it. A window will open where check all the boxes and click "Run".

You may need to restart your computer. After checking, you can start disabling this function. To do this, click "Start" and select the "Run" tab. A window will open in which you need to enter the word "cmd". Click "Ok". A window will open in which you enter the following command “chkntfs / X C:”, where “C:” is the name of the disk you want to disable checking. After that, the check will be completely disabled. If you want to return this function in the future, enter the command “chkntfs / D” in the window.

Go to "Start", then "Run". Enter the "regedit" command and click "OK". Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSession Manager". On the right, double-click on the "BootExecute" key. Its default value is "autocheck autochk *". To disable checking, insert the "/ K: C" parameter in front of the "*" character. Then "BootExecute" should look like this: "autocheck autochk / k: C *". If you want to disable checking on all disks, enter this value "autocheck autochk / k: C / k: D *".

In the registry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSession Manager" set the value of the key "AutoChkTimeOut", and put it on "0". This will disable automatic disk check after abnormal shutdown.
