The Windows Task Scheduler is used to create a specific schedule of program actions. With it, you can set the inclusion of a program on a specific day, at the right time - for example, implement an alarm clock by turning on the player with a song every morning. You cannot install the Task Scheduler separately as a component, it is a built-in system utility.
Instructions
Step 1
Check if the operating system folder C: WindowsSystem32 contains the files mstask.dll, schedsvc.dll and schedcli.dll, as well as schtasks.exe, which are related to the scheduler files. If they are missing, try copying them from the installation disc or recover using the Handy Recovery utility. Copy these files carefully. As practice shows, often users of personal computers confuse system files, and the operating system displays system errors at the next boot.
Step 2
Run a system file checker. Start Command Prompt and enter the sfc / scannow statement. This command will check and restore system files. Recovery can also be started from the operating system disk by booting the computer from it and selecting System Restore. You can use both options to more reliably recover all the data that is missing on your personal computer.
Step 3
Restore the operating system to the point where the Task Scheduler was present on the system, if you have an appropriate restore point. Click the Start button, then All Programs, Maintenance, System Backup and Restore. Select the desired restore point and check the list of programs that affect the rollback of system files.
Step 4
If the "Scheduler" recovery does not occur even after you roll back the system to a previous restore point, then your system files are damaged. Reinstall the system after saving your personal files.
