Step 1

Call the main system menu by clicking the "Start" button to perform the procedure for enabling the hardware acceleration of the laptop video card and open the "Control Panel" link. Define the "Screen" element and expand it by double-clicking it. Use the "Configuring Display Settings" section in the left pane of the dialog box that opens and select the "Advanced Settings" command in the next window. Use the Diagnostics tab of the new dialog box and select the Change Settings option. Drag the indicator slider to the extreme right position and authorize the application of the changes made by clicking OK. Enter the value of the administrator password in the corresponding field of the system request window that opens to confirm the performance of the selected actions and reboot the system to apply the saved changes.

Step 2

Return to the main system menu "Start" to enable hardware support for the laptop sound card and go to the "Run" dialog. Enter the dxdiag value in the "Open" line and authorize the launch of the "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" utility by clicking the OK button. Make sure all the necessary components are installed:

- the latest drivers;

- К-Lite Mega Codec Pack;

- Media Player Classic.

Go to the "Sound" tab of the utility window. Move the indicator slider to the extreme right position in the "Hardware acceleration level" field and authorize the application of the changes by clicking the OK button.

Step 3

Go back to the "Display" tab and apply the checkboxes in the format fields:

- Matroska;

- H264 / AVC (DXVA);

- VC1 (DXVA).

On the right side of the dialog box. Specify the System Default option in all fields of the Playback-Output group and authorize the application of the changes made by clicking the OK button.
