Instructions

Step 1

Launch ShowEXIF and in the lower left part of the program open the directory with the photo that you want to check for editing in Photoshop. If you want to change the language from English to Russian of the program, click the File> Language> Russian menu item. If from Russian to English, then File> Language> English. In the middle of the program there is a window that will display a list of files in the selected folder. Select the required file from them.

Step 2

Click the Information menu item (in Russian - "Information") and make sure that there is a check mark next to Show full information ("Show full information"). If the item Show minimum information is selected, the program will not display all the information about the file, including those required to check for editing Photoshop.

Step 3

In the right part of the program there is a list of meta-data that the selected photo has: the model of the camera with which the picture was taken, exposure time, creation date, etc. You should be interested in the Software item. If it says Adobe Photoshop, then alas, or vice versa, hurray, this photo was edited by Photoshop. Moreover, you can find out which version of the program was editing.
