"Consultant Plus" is a program that is a constantly updated database of regulations of the Russian Federation. With the help of this program, you can be constantly aware of all events in the system of Russian law. As a rule, when purchasing a licensed version, installation is carried out by a specialist from the Consultant Plus center, but in some cases, it may be necessary to install the program yourself.

Instructions
Step 1
The envelope with the "Consultant Plus" program contains a disc with the program distribution kit, insert it into the drive and run the only file on the disc. It is named install.exe. The installer will launch, which will show a greeting and inform you about the information bank that you are going to install. Click the Next button.
Step 2
A screen will appear with the registration number of your program, the type of program (it can be network or local). Check this information with the one specified in the contract. Select a location on your hard drive where you want to install the program. Select the folder where the user's personal settings will be located, namely: request history, folders and bookmarks, documents, comments, settings for the "Consultant Plus" program view and other parameters created by the user when working with the program. During installation, this folder will be called the "directory for configuration files". If you agree with the default points, click "Start", if not, specify other paths. Click the Get Started button. The installation starts and ends with a message about successful installation. Click Finish.
Step 3
After installation, the "ConsultantPlus" item will appear in the "Start" - "Programs" menu, in it there is a shortcut to launch the program. It is too early to start the program, since only the program shell and distribution files are installed. Included with the software distribution discs there is also a disc with information banks for the systems you have selected. It contains the structure of folders and files (similar to those that appeared after installation), which must be copied to similar folders of the "Consultant Plus" program on your computer. These will be folders named SYSTEM and BASE and files info.cod, cons.chm and others.
Step 4
The program is installed, information banks have been added, it is necessary to register the program. To do this, run the program with the / adm / reg keys. During the first launch, the “Install Stations” window will appear, where you can once again select the folder for personal settings. Also here you can change the name of the program in the Start menu. If the message "Restart your computer" appears, you need to restart.
Step 5
Run the registration again, select the required systems from all installed on you and click "Register". In the registration window, you need to transfer the parameters and the "Consultant Plus" center, from where the set of numbers will come. Enter these numbers and the system will be registered. Thus, you need to register all systems, if there are several.
