Legal systems are becoming outdated as rapidly as modern legislation is changing. Manufacturing companies update their systems almost every week, supplementing them with new documents and reviews. Users of "Consultant Plus" are forced to follow them.
Instructions
Step 1
Before updating in your service center, via the Internet or in any other way, get the update files of the "Consultant Plus" system. At the beginning of the installation, place the received files in a folder named receive, which is located in the shared folder with the "Consultant" shell file. To find it, you need to use the right mouse button to look at the "Properties" folder on the program icon, which is usually on the desktop. This folder will indicate the location of the "Consultant Plus".
Step 2
Further, the system of this program will search for update files that are placed in the receive folder, so you need to copy the received update file documents to this folder.

File documents with updates will have the form XXX00000. NYY, and XXX denotes the info bank for which the files are intended, 0000 is the registration number of your system (if you have several computers working with the "Consultant", the registration number will be five-digit), numbers after the dot denote an extension, and the last 2 are numbers in order in the hexadecimal system. These files are usually zipped, so after you place them in the receive folder, you will need to extract them from the zip file.
Step 4
Next, open the existing program "Consultant Plus" (if it works over the network, you need to use the / adm key), then open the database in it. From the menu at the top, select "Service", then - "Database operations". A new window will open in which you need to enter the "Replenishment", where in the "Database" you need to check the box that is to be updated, or all databases.
Step 5
After that, it remains to check the date in the "Today" window and press the "Accept" button, after which the database update will begin. In terms of time, depending on the computer used, this can take up to 20-30 minutes. After the update process is completed, the statistics window will open. It contains information on how many documents were added, how many documents were subject to change.
Step 6
If after you clicked "Accept" the message "File not found …" appeared, this means that you have not copied the update files to the receive directory or unpacked them from the archive - eliminate the flaw and click "Accept" again.
