The Minimize All Windows button is one of the most frequently used and, at the same time, the most accidentally deleted desktop buttons. Restoring this shortcut does not require special knowledge and is quite feasible for an ordinary computer user.
Instructions
Step 1
Call the service menu on the desktop with the right mouse click and select the "Create" section.
Step 2
Click "Shortcut" in the drop-down menu (for Windows 7) and "Text Document" (for Windows XP).
Step 3
Enter the value C: Windowsexplorer.exe shell::: {3080F90D-D7AD-11D9-BD98-0000947B0257} in the "Specify the location of the object" field in the "Create shortcut" window that opens and click the "Next" button (for Windows 7).
Name the created document "Minimize All Windows". Open it and enter the values line by line:

IconFile = explorer.exe, 3
[Taskbar]
Command = ToggleDesktop
Step 4
Choose "Save As" from the "File" menu. Select "All Files" under "Save as type". Select "Minimize all windows" with a.scf extension (Shell Command File) in the "File name" section. Save the resulting file to your desktop (for Windows XP).
Step 5
Enter the desired name for the icon in the new window in the Enter shortcut name field. The name is arbitrary and depends only on the preferences of the owner. Click the Finish button. The shortcut that appeared on the desktop is quite functional (for Windows 7).
Step 6
Delete the original text file and drag the new shortcut to the Quick Launch (for Windows XP).
All further steps refer to Windows 7.
Step 7
Select "Properties" by right-clicking on the newly created shortcut.
Step 8
Click the Change Icon button on the Shortcut tab in the new Properties window.
Step 9
Enter the value% SystemRoot% system32imageres.dll in the "Look for icons in the next file" field in the "Change icon" window that opens.
Step 10
Confirm your choice with the OK button.
Step 11
Select the desired icon from those offered in the "Change Icon" window.
Step 12
Confirm your choice and close all open windows by clicking OK.
Step 13
Pin the "Minimize All Windows" icon to the taskbar.
