If any element in the project, for example, a beautifully designed inscription, thanks to your efforts, has taken the desired shape, you can combine the components of this element (layers) into a single whole. Adobe Photoshop has the necessary tools for this.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the program and create a new document in it: click the menu item File (in the Russian version "File")> New ("New"), or use the hotkeys Ctrl + N. In the window that appears, in the Height and Width fields, specify, for example, 500 each, in the Background contents field, set Transparent and click OK. A new project window will appear in the workspace of the program.
Step 2
By default, there is already one layer in the project with nothing on it. Select the Brush tool using the options bar (located below the file menu), adjust it to your liking and paint something. Now this layer is no longer empty, it will contain what you painted with the Brush.
Step 3
Select the Text tool. Left-click on an arbitrary part of the document. Type an arbitrary inscription from the keyboard. Click the Commit any current edits button located on the right side of the Tool Options bar and shown as a checkmark. You now have another layer.
Step 4
Activate the Move tool ("Move", hotkey V) and experiment with the position of the layers. To start manipulating a certain layer, you must first select it: left-click on it in the list of layers. Keep in mind that after the layers are merged, such manipulations with each layer separately will become impossible.
Step 5
Merge the layers. This can be done in several ways. First, hold down Ctrl, select both layers by left-clicking on each of them, right-click to open the drop-down menu and select Merge layers. Second - just as in the first case, select both layers, click the menu item Layer ("Layers")> Merge layers ("Merge layers"). Third - select both layers and click the key combination Ctrl + E. If both layers are visible, i.e., an icon with an eye is visible to the left of each of them, you can use the fourth method - press Ctrl + Shift + E.
