Step 1
Automatic updates are the easiest and most reliable way to keep your antivirus software up to date. To do this, your computer must have constant access to the Internet to connect to the software developer's server. Open the program window and go to the "Updates" tab. Right-click on the field and select "Automatic update", then select the update frequency "once a day" or "once a week". If you chose daily update, then specify the time to start the process.
Step 2
Manual update. If, for some reason, you do not enable the download of the current database automatically, then set the "off" mode in the "Automatic update" parameter. If you want to update the data, go to the "Updates" tab and click "Perform update". This function is built into all versions of Kaspersky applications.
Step 3
An update from a local folder may be needed when you have the program on several computers, but not all have Internet access. In this case, the versions of the programs on all PCs must be the same. Go to the menu item "Settings" => "Update" in the program on a computer connected to the Internet. Then select "Settings" => "Advanced" and enable the "Copy to folder" option, select the path to the folder. Then start the update.

After the folder is full, copy it to the media or open access to it from other computers over the local network. Then on local PCs go to the program: "Settings" - "Update" - "Settings" - "Update source" and uncheck the "Kaspersky Lab update servers" checkbox - "Add" button - select the folder with updates and start the process.
