An NRG image is a disc image created in the Nero application. In order to open such an image, you must use specialized programs such as Demon Tools or Alcohol.

Instructions
Step 1
Download the distribution kit of the specialized application Alcohol 120%, freely distributed on the Internet, and run the executable file of the program. Please confirm your agreement with the terms of the license agreement and agree to create a virtual drive. Reboot the system and run the installed application.
Step 2
Open the link "Search for images" in the left pane of the main window of the Alcohol 120% program and select the location for saving nrg images in the drop-down list of the "Location" line in the dialog box that opens. After that, click the "Search" button in the "Other Locations" group and specify the full path to the required files. Select the found disk images and use the "Add selected files to Alcohol 120%" command in the "Advanced" section.
Step 3
Select "Virtual Disk" in the next dialog box and specify the desired number of disks in the drop-down directory of the "Number of virtual disks" line. Confirm the execution of the selected action by clicking the OK button, and open the desired image by double-clicking.
Step 4
Use the alternative method to open the nrg image. To do this, open the main system menu by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "My Computer" item. Find the virtual drive created by the Alcohol 120% program and open its context menu by clicking the right mouse button. Specify the "Mount Image" command and double-click the required file in the opened dialog box. The image will be mounted and launched automatically.
Step 5
Another way to open the nrg image is to open the context menu of the saved file by right-clicking and specifying the "Mount Image" command. After that, you only need to select the drive created by the Alcohol 120% program in the dialog box that opens.
