Step 1

To work, you must have a full version of Nero with all components. It is advisable to use one of the most recent versions of the program. Run the application. After starting, click on the arrow on the right. Then, under Applications, select Nero ImageDrive. Agree to activate the component by clicking "Yes". Next, check the box next to the "Allow drive" line. You can create two virtual drives if needed.

Step 2

Then go to the "First Drive" tab. Click on the browse button in the upper right corner and specify the path to the disk image. Select this disk with the left mouse button. Then, at the bottom of the browse window, click Open. After a few seconds, the message "Image installed" will appear in the program window. If you need to extract a disk image from a virtual drive, just go to the First Drive tab and click Eject. The virtual disk will then be unmounted and you can mount another image instead.

Step 3

If necessary, using the Nero program, you can burn the contents of the image to a regular disc. To do this, select Nero Express in the Applications section. Then select the "Image, project" section, then - "Disk image". Specify the path to the disk image to be burned. Select it with the left mouse click. Then, at the bottom of the browse window, click "Open".

Step 4

Insert a blank disc into your computer's optical drive. If you need to record an image in several copies, enter the required number of copies in the "Number of copies" line. Also check the box next to "Check data after recording" and click "Record". Wait for the image burning procedure to complete. When finished, remove the recorded disc from the optical drive tray. If you have chosen to burn the media in multiple copies, then after removing the first, insert the next blank disc.
