At some points, it can be useful to know the country of manufacture of a product. Such questions may arise, for example, when crossing the border and when filling out a customs declaration. If there are no questions with whole products, then it can be quite difficult to determine the country of assembly of a computer consisting of several components.

Instructions
Step 1
Check the documentation for your computer. The documentation, warranty card, or product packaging must indicate where the computer was manufactured. Look for this information on the Made in … As a rule, such documents are issued upon purchase of the device. If you do not have such documents, you can view such information on the Internet using search engines, as well as programs for reading electronic documents.
Step 2
Manufacturers Acer, Dell, Asus and others sell off-the-shelf computers under their own brand. In this case, the country of manufacture will correspond to the country of assembly of the computer, and will be indicated on the product packaging. If the packaging is lost, you can restore information about your computer using the serial number and model, which are indicated on the labels.
Step 3
If the computer has the brand Depo, Formoza, Forum or other identifiers of Russian manufacturers, then the computer will be assembled in Russia. You can find out the exact place of assembly by examining the accompanying documentation. You can also judge by the manufacturer's brand. That is, you enter the brand of your computer into the search engines, and you get information about where it is located. You can even look at the maps.
Step 4
If the computer does not have an obvious brand name (do not confuse it with the manufacturer of the computer case), then it was most likely assembled by the sales organization. Such assemblies often do not have their own stamps and legal force. And the country of production in this case will be different for each component.
Step 5
If the seller does not have a certificate for assembling and maintaining computers, then you purchased a personal computer not as a single device, but as a set of components assembled into a computer. In fact, this does not make any difference, with the difference that each board will be indicated separately in the warranty card.
