Many people constantly have to deal with the need to copy the necessary programs, video, audio files, various photographic materials to a CD or hard drive. This can be done in different ways. One of the most effective ones is copying using the "Alcohol 120%" program. It is especially suitable when you need to rewrite a very valuable but badly scratched disc with protection. Copying the contents of a DVD or CD in the form of an image using the specified program is as follows.

Instructions
Step 1
Before writing an image of a file or program to disk, you need to create this image. In the main window of the running program "Alcohol" select the operation "Image creation" with the mouse cursor in the right vertical panel. Click. A new function window appears.
Step 2
Then press the "Next" command button in the new window. In the next window, see if you have enough space to place the image on the required local disk (C:, D:, etc.). Select the drive or folder to copy to, and click on the "Start" button located at the bottom of the window.
Step 3
The created image can be saved on a local disk by converting it into a virtual disk (in order to run it on a computer) using the same "Alcohol". And you can rewrite it on a blank CD, on which it will also be stored, but from which it will be possible to run it just in normal mode, without "Alcohol".
Step 4
To burn an image to a CD, select the Burn CD / DVD from images operation in the right vertical pane of the Alcohol main window. Click on it. In the window that appears, using the "Browse" button, find the image and insert it into the input field using the "Open" button. Then, as usual, press "Next", "Start" (buttons at the bottom of the windows). The process has begun! Unless, of course, you forgot to insert a blank disc into the drive.
