Instructions
Step 1
To do this, you can use specialized software. On the official website alcohol-soft.com download the program Alcohol 120. It allows you to create disc images that can later be burned to another medium. In this case, all information, including the cover, will exactly match the original.
Step 2
Install the program on your computer. It must be installed in the system directory of the local disk on the computer, since all copies and logs are saved there. Wait for the installation to complete and restart your computer. Next, start Alcohol. A working window will appear in front of you, in which all copies that were created using this program will be displayed later.
Step 3
Insert the disc you want to create an exact copy from. Further in the program, click on the item "Create images". As soon as the program detects the disc inserted into the drive, click the "Next" button. All settings are set by default, and if you do not understand anything about them, then you do not need to change anything. Click on the "Next" button again. Copying the disc starts.
Step 4
Wait a while until all operations in the program are completed. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour. It all depends on the type of drive, computer RAM, speed. Once the image has been created, the drive will automatically open. Remove the disc and insert a blank one. Just try to use discs that fit the memory size.
Step 5
Next, select the image you want to burn to disk with one click of the mouse. Click on the Burn Images to Disk tab. Click on the "Next" button in the same way. As soon as the recording is finished, the disc will automatically be ejected from the computer. It is also worth noting that all discs recorded through this program must be checked for operability after recording.
