A factor of visual impairment is the exposure of the eyes to ultraviolet radiation and the blue glow of the screen, excessive brightness and pulsation of the monitor. To mitigate these effects, optics have developed anti-computer goggles. They consist of a frame and an optical polymer or mineral lens coated with a special metallized coating. The multifunctional coating protects the eyes from UV radiation, reduces the brightness of perception while increasing the contrast and clarity of the image.
Instructions
Step 1
To choose glasses for working at a computer, first of all contact an ophthalmologist. Describe your problem clearly, tell us what feelings you experience when working at a computer for a long time. Be sure to tell your doctor how far the monitor is from your eyes.
Step 2
An ophthalmologist will check your vision for diagnostics of certain eye diseases, myopia or hyperopia, write a prescription in which he will indicate the glasses you need with or without diopters.
Step 3
With this recipe, feel free to go to the nearest optics store. Rate the glasses offered to you visually. The anti-computer coating has characteristic pearlescent reflections, purple, green or gold.
Step 4
Try on your glasses. Listen to your feelings. Glasses should fit snugly on the bridge of the nose, but not squeeze it with nose pads. The temples should not cause discomfort to the ears and head, but they should also not allow the glasses to slip off. Light openings should not constrict your field of vision. Lower your eyes, lift them up, move them from left to right. The frame should not prevent you from looking through glasses.
Step 5
Ask your sales assistant for a hygienic certificate, as glasses are subject to personal use and cannot be returned or exchanged. Anti-computer glasses with diopters should be made exclusively to order in accordance with your prescription.
