There are situations when, due to business needs, you need to leave the office for a while. Your computer contains confidential information that, for security reasons, should not fall into the wrong hands. But in your absence, you cannot control access to your computer. To dispel the doubts that have crept in that someone could work on your PC, check it using the standard tools of the operating system.

Instructions
Step 1
If the computers in your office are on the network, then your PC can be logged in with the name and password of another user. In this case, your information is not available to other users. When you turn on the computer, the dialog box in which you are asked for a username and password will remain the name of the user who last worked on your computer.
Step 2
If your computer was logged in with your username and password, then the time spent by another person can be found out quite easily. To do this, press the "Start" button in the status bar (at the bottom of the image on the monitor) with the left mouse button. In the proposed menu, select the line "All programs". Then go to the line "Standard" and then on it in the drop-down list - to the line "Command line".
Step 3
Click on this line and type the command systeminfo. A large list will appear with various information. On the left side of the list, find the line "System uptime". Opposite this line there will be information about how many days, hours, minutes and seconds the computer has worked. By comparing the time of absence and the operating time of the computer, you can determine whether the PC turned on without you or not.
Step 4
If you want to know if someone is logging into your computer via the Internet, then you need to follow these steps. Find the My Computer icon on your desktop. Right-click on it and go to the "Control" line. Click on this line. In the dialog box that opens, double-click the "Event Viewer" line. Next, go to the "Security" line. There you will receive an answer to your question.
