Step 1
Modify the dialog using standard Windows operating system tools. To do this, right-click on the desktop area free of shortcuts, select "Properties".

In the window that opens, select the "Design" tab. Click the Advanced button. In the drop-down menu, select the "Window" option, customize its appearance and click the "Apply" button.

You can also change the parameters of other elements of the system's appearance, to do this, select each of them one by one, make the necessary transformations, then click the "Apply" button and go to the next item. When finished, close the window by clicking the "OK" button.

Change the appearance of dialogs and other windows of the system by installing skins. To do this, download them from the Internet according to the type of your operating system and place them in a separate folder on your hard drive.
Step 5
Open desktop properties. Remaining on the first tab of the "Themes" window, click on the drop-down menu and select "Browse". Specify the path to the themes you downloaded in the window that appears, select all of them, after which they will automatically be added to the list. Please use the preview function before applying one of them. Also save all changes.
Step 6
Change the appearance of dialog boxes and other windows of the system using the programs for customizing the appearance of the operating system. There are a lot of such programs, many of them change not only the appearance of windows, but also the appearance of the icons of files and folders. To do this, download the application you like, for example, Windows (XP, Vista, Seven) Transformation Pack.
Step 7
Install it according to the instructions of the installer and restart your computer. Before that, it is best to create a checkpoint to further restore your computer to its original state, if you suddenly have difficulties after installing the program.
