The good thing about the Internet is that it has almost everything. And you can download any information to your computer. But anything can happen, and the download is sometimes interrupted. In order not to lose files and download them again, use a few simple programs: browser, download manager, torrent client.
Instructions
Step 1
So, you are full of sadness over an underloaded file. If you use a browser (Internet Explorer, Opera, etc.), find the "Downloads" section in the browser tabs, find the underloaded file from the list, click the "Continue Download" icon (in Mozilla and Opera browsers it looks like a triangle on the Play button). The download will continue if the file was saved in the cache.
Step 2
If your network is poorly configured and there are frequent disconnections, there is an optimal solution - use a download manager. This is software for downloading files from the Internet and a local network, with advanced functionality: resuming a file, limiting the download speed, assigning a download queue, splitting it into several streams, thereby increasing the download speed.
Step 3
There are several free programs that are readily available for download on the Internet, such as ReGet and Download Master. To continue downloading in them, select the desired file, right-click on it, in the context menu, click "resume download". If you downloaded from a file hosting service, for example Letitbit, dynamic links are given there. Log in again, get the download link, copy, open the incomplete file, paste the link in the "properties", the download will continue from the place of disconnection.
Step 4
Work in torrent clients such as µTorrent works in a similar way. The file is downloaded from several hosting (seeders), and then distributed. If you save traffic, you can limit the upload speed and leave the distribution after downloading. To resume the download, you just need to launch the torrent client. If you stopped the download yourself, then click the "Continue" button ("Launch torrent") to continue.
