Step 1
Select the connector on the TV through which you will connect this device to the computer's video card. Naturally, it is better to use digital data transmission channels, as this will ensure high image quality. Typically, computer graphics cards are equipped with a DVI or HDMI connector, which are capable of transmitting a digital signal. Find the corresponding port on the TV case. The DVI link can be connected to the HDMI port using a dedicated cable.
Step 2
Connect the video card to the TV. This process can be carried out without turning off the above devices. Open the PDP settings menu. Go to the Signal Source menu and select the port to which you connected the cable.
Step 3
Now set up your computer's graphics card. To do this, you can use the standard features of the Windows operating system. Open Control Panel and select the Appearance and Personalization menu. Find the "Display" menu and open the "Connect to an external display" item located in this menu. If the image of one monitor is still displayed in the upper part of the window that opens, then click the "Find" button and wait while the system detects the plasma TV.
Step 4
Now click on the image of the monitor or TV and activate the option "Make this screen the main". After that, all running applications will open on the selected display. Activate the Extend This Screen feature. The desktop area will be enlarged by the second screen.
Step 5
Start any program, such as a video player. Move it outside of the main display. Set your TV screen to the correct resolution to remove the black bars at the top and bottom of the display.
