Windows does not actually delete files that the user condemns to erasure, but first places them in the so-called "trash", giving the user a chance to change their minds and restore the erased. If the files need to be deleted completely, the user will need to empty this same recycle bin.
Instructions
Step 1
First, localize the trash can shortcut on your desktop. It should look exactly like a wastepaper basket, however, depending on the desktop theme you choose, it may not be similar.
Step 2
If you want to simply and banally empty the trash from all its contents, then just right-click on it and select "empty trash". It's simple.
Step 3
If you have a need to delve into the contents of the basket and restore something, and erase something, then double-click the left button on the basket icon and its contents will open in front of you. Now, by right-clicking on each of the files in the basket, you can select whether to delete or restore it.
