If you delete important files from your hard drive, you should immediately start recovering them. Unfortunately, Windows operating systems do not have built-in utilities for finding and re-saving deleted objects.

Instructions
Step 1
When deleting files from a local disk on which an active operating system is installed, it is recommended to immediately turn off the computer. Perform all further procedures from another PC. You can also use a second hard drive with a preinstalled operating system.
Step 2
Turn on your computer and establish an internet connection. Download software designed to find and recover deleted objects. If you recently deleted files, try recovering them using free utilities.
Step 3
In a situation where the removal operation was performed a relatively long time ago, it is better to install a powerful scanner program, for example, Easy Recovery. Download the installation files for this application from the developers site.
Step 4
Install Easy Recovery. To do this, run the downloaded file and click Next several times. Open the main application window. Click on the Data Recovery icon. Now specify the method that was used to delete files from the hard drive. The program works with one of the following options: standard deletion, partition formatting and volume file system change.
Step 5
Go to the required item and select the local disk that will be scanned by the program. Click on Complete Scan to activate the in-depth analysis method. If you plan to reduce the amount of time it takes to scan your disk, specify the specific types of files that you want to recover.
Step 6
To do this, fill in the File Filter field. The program provides templates designed to search for files of certain categories. When the disk scan is complete, select the checkboxes for the files you want to save. Click the Save button.
Step 7
Specify the hard disk partition to which data recovery will be performed. Use a flash card for this if your hard drive is not partitioned.
