You bought a new computer with a full set of software, but forgot to ask what antivirus is in it. There are several ways to determine which antivirus is installed on your PC.
Instructions
Step 1
Option one. The anti-virus will start itself when the computer starts up. You will see its icon in the lower right corner of the monitor screen. Most likely, the antivirus will show you a message that it needs an update. If you click on this message, you can see the name of the program and its version.
Step 2
Option two. Antivirus can be found by name. If you bought a laptop, then most likely there will be an antivirus from McAfee. This is the most common laptop antivirus.
Step 3
Option three. Go to the "Start" - "Control Panel" - "Add or Remove Programs". By examining this list, you can see which program is responsible for what. Thus, you can easily find the location of the antivirus.
