Instructions
Step 1
Go to https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner to download CCleaner, an application for cleaning the Windows registry. Install it and run it from your desktop shortcut. In the window that appears, on the right, click on the "Registry" button and at the bottom "Search for problems". The program will start searching for erroneous registry keys, later they will need to be deleted, at the end of the scan, a complete list of errors will be displayed.
Step 2
Click the Fix Selected button. Click "OK" to confirm cleaning the system registry from errors. The window that appears will display the total number of deleted keys. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
Step 3
Use Reg Organizer to clean your registry. It is a multifunctional application for comprehensive registry maintenance. The program has the functions of compressing, cleaning the registry, as well as a powerful registry editor and data search in it.
Step 4
Launch Reg Organizer, on the left side of the window, click "Registry Cleaner". The window that appears will display the time of the last check of your registry. Click on the "Start" button. During the scan, you can see the number of problems found by type, for example, in the autorun settings and installed programs.
Step 5
Wait while the program completes the registry check and displays the total number of errors found. Then click the "Fix" button to get rid of the problems in the registry.
Step 6
Use other applications to find and fix errors in the system registry, for example, Easy cleaner, Win Cleaner, Microsoft RegCleaner, Regseeker. All these applications have a similar interface and procedure for working with the registry. After starting the program, you must first scan the system registry, and then fix the errors found in it.
