The Sims 3 is a continuation of the acclaimed The Sims line, launched by Electronic Arts back in 2000. Additions to the game are constantly being released in the form of catalogs (designated Staff), which include hairstyles, clothing, interior items and other objects, and add-ons that expand the functionality of the game. Thus, the Adventure World addon gave players the opportunity to send their Sims to the cities of Al-Simar (Egypt), Shang-Simla (China) and Sham-le-Sim (France), and the Paradise Islands addon - to settle characters on an island or a floating barge replacing the home; and operate hotels. The latest add-on was Sims 3 Into the Future, where Sims can be sent into a conventional, utopian or dystopian future with monorail roads and robots.

Installing The Sims 3 is easy. It is important to first figure out what kind of game you got into your hands. If you purchased a licensed edition, there will be no problems. The installation of the game is considered on the example of the last add-on in the line. All other parts are set in the same way. Before you start installing the add-on, make sure that the base original Sims 3 game is installed on your computer.

Insert the disc into the DVD-Rom and run the Autorun.exe file. Wait for the launch of the installer.

Read the welcome word and click the Next button.

Most likely, you will be prompted to update the version of the game. This must be done, otherwise nothing will be installed at all or will work incorrectly.

When the update is complete, accept the terms of the license agreement, and then click the "Next" button.

Then enter the 20-digit license code. If you bought the disc from a store, then the code is printed on the box with the game.

If Origin is not installed on your computer, you will be prompted to install it. Origin is an app that lets you buy, download, install and update games from Electronic Arts.
