Sometimes workspace optimization turns into a vicious monster for the user. For example, when accidentally pressing a certain key hides some desired panel or menu window from the eyes. Adobe Photoshop is no exception when you consider the amount of bitmap options it can provide.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch Adobe Photoshop and open the Window menu item. Here are the items for turning on / off the program panels. Activated panels are marked with check marks. So, to enable or disable any of the panels, just click on it with the left mouse button. You can also use hotkeys to turn panels on / off, for example, to hide or restore the layers panel, just press F7.
Step 2
Press Tab. This hotkey allows you to hide or set the status bar, toolbar and all palettes at once. If you press Shift + Tab in this position, the palettes will appear. If you press Shift + Tab when the program displays both the toolbar and the status bar, and the palettes, the palettes will disappear. Pressing Shift + Tab again will return the panel with palettes.
Step 3
In addition, you can independently configure hotkeys to enable / disable certain panels. To do this, click the Window> Workspace> Keyboard Shortcuts & Menus menu item and in the window that appears, open the Keyboard Shortcuts tab. Make sure Application menus is enabled in the Shortcuts for drop-down menu and expand Window. Click on the item for which you want to set a hotkey, an input field will appear to the right of it.
Step 4
Keep in mind that in this case you can use only functional keys (F1-F12), as well as combinations of Ctrl and other buttons as hot keys. If you specify a key already in use, the program will inform you about this with an inscription at the bottom of the window … is already in use and will be removed from (the item for which this key has already been assigned is indicated below). Below the label there will be two buttons: Accept and go to conflict (by clicking on it, you confirm the change of the hotkey or keys) and Undo Changes (this button cancels the change).
