The laptop screen gets dirty over time. Dust accumulates on it, as well as fingerprints. But in order to clean it, you need to follow some rules.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn off your computer while cleaning. This will protect both yourself and the monitor. It is desirable that the laptop does not work at all, and was not in standby mode or with the screen off.
Step 2
Buy a screen cleaning kit or special detergent in the form of a liquid or wet wipes. If you don't have that, use homemade methods. Mix the vinegar and water. You can also use soapy water and even alcohol, although the latter should be used with caution. The main thing is not to use abrasive cleaners that can scratch the screen, as well as products containing ammonia, which is also harmful to plasma panels.
Step 3
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to use for cleaning. Do not use paper towels, as this may leave fibers on the surface of the monitor.
Step 4
Clean your laptop in daylight, preferably in front of a window. Moisten a cloth with cleaner and gently, horizontally or vertically, clean the screen. It is important that your movements are directed in the same direction. Do not put too much cleaning liquid on the cloth - water entering may damage the computer. Do not use spray to spray the screen cleaner. In this case, droplets can enter the keyboard and the inside of the computer.
Step 5
Wait for the screen to dry. Check if there are any streaks left on it. After cleaning with soap, you will need to wipe the surface again with water. Look at the screen from different angles - all spots should come off. After the monitor is completely dry, turn on the laptop. Streaks and stains should not be visible on the luminous screen.
