Instructions
Step 1
Download and install Camera Plus or Debut-video Recorder. Familiarize yourself with the interface of the installed application, find out the possibilities and options for recording settings. Find out what the menu buttons do.
Step 2
Adjust the video recording quality settings by selecting the desired frame rate. The best option is values in the range of 20-28 images per second, however, the parameters of the webcam may simply not support image recording in this quality, so it is best to familiarize yourself with its technical characteristics before recording.
Step 3
Connect a microphone to your computer if your configuration does not include a built-in device. Adjust the parameters of the audio recording quality by setting the format, clarity and other values available in the program menu.
Step 4
Customize the format and size of the video you are saving, select the path where the file will be located. Limit the size of the recorded video, if necessary.
Step 5
After you configure all the parameters, enable video recording by pressing the Rec button or another of the same purpose.
Step 6
After the end of the recording, watch the video, edit it if you need it. Many programs for recording video from a webcam assume the presence of additional tools both for recording at certain settings of brightness-contrast-saturation, and for further applying these parameters to already recorded video materials.
Step 7
Please note that processing this kind of files may require high performance from your computer, especially in terms of RAM and video memory resources, so when performing an operation, it is best not to overload the system by opening other applications that may slow down the processing process.
