The beginning of the way

The history of Apple dates back to 1976, when two friends Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak decided to start producing affordable computer hardware. Having a remarkable talent in terms of programming, as well as an outstanding commercial vein, friends in the same year brought to the market their first product - the Apple Computer I. This device, or in modern parlance - "device", was sold at a price of 666.66 dollars and was an impressive motherboard, to which a keyboard and a television receiver were connected using connectors.

In the case of the newly-minted company, the saying "the first pancake is lumpy" loses all meaning, because the sales of Apple Computer I were so successful that they inspired two Steves to new exploits in the field of IT. The next computer model, which could confidently be called a real breakthrough in the world of computer technology of that era, was named Apple Computer II. It was the first personal computer to feature color graphics, and it was wrapped in a molded plastic case, which was a bold know-how of the late seventies.

Then, in 1977, the company received the corresponding logo - a bitten apple. Why is it an apple after all? Everything is extremely simple - the chief sales officer Steve Jobs was very fond of apples, so he decided to immortalize his favorite fruit in the name of his company. The other Steve didn't mind.

Macintosh era

1979 is a landmark year for Apple. This year, one of the company's young and ambitious specialists, Jeff Raskin, began developing an affordable and easy-to-learn computer. Subsequently, the device, called the Macintosh, made a real revolution in the IT field.

The Macintosh, which Apple unveiled on January 22, 1984, was powered by the latest Mac OS, the benefits of which were immediately apparent. Now each user, having a minimum of skills, could in the shortest possible time get involved in the work process and he did not have to delve into all kinds of technical subtleties.

Over the next two decades, Apple has continuously improved its line of computers and became one of the leaders in the computer industry. It was Apple that pioneered the use of the graphical user interface and the computer mouse in computers.
