It is necessary

  • Internet browsers:
  • - Mozilla Firefox;
  • - Opera;
  • - Google Chrome.

Instructions

Step 1

Almost any modern browser stores not only the history of viewed pages in program files, but also a list of used tabs. The easiest way to restore the desired tab is to use the keyboard shortcut, which you can learn from the hotkey settings.

Step 2

Mozilla Firefox. This browser has several ways to restore accidentally closed tabs. The oldest one is through the browsed history. To do this, in the main window of the program, click the top menu "Journal", from the drop-down list select the section "Recently closed tabs". View the entire list and click on the desired left mouse button.

Step 3

A faster way is to right-click on any tab and select "Restore Closed Tab". You can also perform this action by pressing the Ctrl + Shift + T keyboard shortcut, pressing it again will open older tabs.

Step 4

Opera. For this browser, there are 2 ways to restore closed tabs: using the "History" applet or using hot keys and mouse control. The history of viewed pages can be opened both in a new tab and in the sidebar. In the first case, you must press the key combination Ctrl + Shift + H, otherwise you need to press Ctrl + H.

Step 5

Press Ctrl + Z to restore the tab automatically. If you rarely use your keyboard, it is recommended that you use a mouse. Hold down the right mouse button and make a movement to the left - you will see the previous page again. Shifting to the right while holding the right key will take you one page forward.

Step 6

Google Chrome. Ctrl + Shift + H is used as hotkeys in this browser (like in Firefox). Some users are unhappy with the use of this combination; as an alternative, it is worth using the Reopen tab by Ctrl + Z browser add-on. From its name it becomes clear that you can restore tabs by Ctrl + Z.

Step 7

To install this add-on, open the settings menu by left-clicking on the wrench icon. Select the "Tools" section, then "Extensions". On the page that opens, click the "More extensions" link and enter "Reopen tab by Ctrl + Z" in the search bar. Among the search results, select a plugin similar in name and click the "Install" button.
