A cache is intermediate memory between two devices, which reduces the number of calls to these devices, thereby improving performance. Quite often, there is a problem with clearing the cache. Overflowing the local cache with various files does not violate confidentiality, but it can severely slow down the entire system.

Instructions

Step 1

Unnecessary cache can lead to the fact that when watching movies, videos online, files start loading incorrectly or stop loading at all. One of the simplest solutions to this problem is to install the popular and free Ccleaner program.

Step 2

Download (you can do it for free on the official website piriform.com/ccleaner) and run the installation exe-file of the "ccsetup" program. The latest (Russified) version of the program is 3.09. By default, the program will be installed on the C: / Program Files / CCleaner drive. To make it easier to launch the program, right-click on the Ccleaner icon, select "Send" - "Desktop (create shortcut)".

Step 3

Double click on the "Ccleaner" shortcut. The main program window will open on the "Cleaning" tab. By default, the sections Internet Explorer, Windows Explorer, System are marked with checkmarks. Unchecked items - autocomplete lines, saved passwords, DNS cache, FTP accounts, desktop and main menu shortcuts. If necessary, you can check these boxes if you are sure not to delete important data.

Step 4

To clear the cache of the local disk, just check the items shown in the figure. After you have added or removed the necessary checkboxes, click the "Analysis" button located at the bottom left. After checking the system for about a minute, the program will display a list of all unnecessary files (local disk cache) that need to be deleted.

Step 5

Please note - among them are not only the cache of the Enternet Explorer browser, but also other installed browsers - Opera, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc. As well as unnecessary application files, multimedia, and more. Ccleaner will also show the total number of megabytes that will be freed after cleaning.

Step 6

Click on the "Cleanup" button located at the bottom right. A window will appear to confirm your choice - "Are you sure you want to continue?", Click "OK", and the cache will be cleared successfully.
