Step 1

To disable hibernation, select Never from the list. If you are configuring a laptop, then you can choose different parameters for operation on mains and on battery. Once everything is set up, click on "Save Changes".

Alternatively, on the Configure Power Plan page, select the Change advanced power settings link. A window will open with a list of settings that can be adjusted. Select "Sleep".

If you are using a desktop computer, select Never from the list of values to disable automatic hibernation. For a laptop, you need to select separately the values for operation on mains and on battery. When all the correct settings are set, click "OK" to save them.

If you completely disable hibernation and hibernation on a laptop while operating on battery power, then, in the event of a low battery charge, the computer will still shut down, but all unsaved data will be lost. Therefore, it is advisable not to set "Never" when it comes to setting the sleep mode when operating on battery power.
