Step 1
If at the moment the drivers are not installed at all, then connect to the Internet and open the device manager of your computer. Find the name of your audio adapter. It will be highlighted with an exclamation mark. Click on it with the right mouse button. In the drop-down menu, select the Update Drivers action.

After opening a new window, go to the "Connect to the Internet to search for drivers" item. Wait a while for the automatic search and installation of the required files. Unfortunately, this method does not always work. In such situations, it is recommended to independently search for the files you need.

In the case of a sound card from Realtek, you can download the necessary program from the official website of this company. Go to https://www.realtek.com/downloads. Hover over Computer Peripheral ICs. Select the PC Audio Codecs submenu and move the cursor over the AC'97 or HD Audio (new models of sound cards) item. Select software. In the new menu, check the box next to I accept above and click Next.
Step 4
After moving to a new page, select the operating system and language pack you are using. Download the proposed program. Install it and restart your computer. If after that the sound card does not start working correctly, then remove the installed components.

Please select another item (AC'97 or HD) and try again. If this method did not work, then download Driver Pack Solution. Use it to install the required drivers. Usually, the utility will automatically detect the files it needs.
