Driver - software required for the video card to work correctly. If the image quality on your monitor is no longer satisfactory for you while working with graphics, watching movies or playing games, try updating your video adapter driver. This can be done in several ways.

Step 1
Method one: call the "System" component. To do this, right-click on the “My Computer” item from the “Desktop” and select the “Properties” item in the drop-down menu. Alternatively, open Control Panel from the Start menu and select the System icon from the Performance and Maintenance category.

A new System Properties dialog box will open. Go to the "Hardware" tab and click on the "Device Manager" button. This action will bring up an additional dialog box. Find the line "Video adapters" in the list of devices and expand the hidden data by double-clicking on the line with the left mouse button or by clicking on the [-] icon to the left of the line.

Click on the line with the name of your video card with the right mouse button and select "Update driver" from the drop-down menu, then follow the instructions of the "Hardware update wizard" that opens. Another option: double-click the left mouse button on the line with the name of your video card and go to the "Driver" tab in the window that opens. Click on the "Update" button located to the left of the inscription "Update driver for this device", and follow the instructions of the "Hardware Update Wizard".
Step 4
Method two: download from the Internet the new version of the driver from the official website of the developer, indicating the correct series and model of equipment. Use the Add or Remove Programs component to uninstall the old driver (Start menu - Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs). Wait for the uninstallation to finish, restart your computer.
Step 5
Run the setup.exe (install.exe) file downloaded from the Internet. Follow the instructions of the "Installation Wizard", after the installation is complete, restart your computer again. In some cases, you do not need to remove the old driver yourself, just run the setup.exe file, and the Installation Wizard will do everything automatically (remove the old driver and install the new one).
