By default, the language bar contains two languages - Russian (native) and English (with US grammar rules). To translate and communicate with native speakers of other languages, you need the ability to switch the keyboard to the appropriate layout.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the Start menu by pressing the checkbox key. You can also hover over the checkbox at the bottom of the desktop and click on it. Select Setup and click the cursor a second time (or the Right Arrow Key).
Step 2
Select the line "Control Panel", click the mouse or press the enter key. In the directory, select the "Regional and Languages" function.
Step 3
Click the Keyboards and Languages tab, then the Change Keyboard button. In the new window, click the "Add" button.
Step 4
Select a language from the list. Click the plus sign to the left of the title to select a layout. To view the layout, press the "Show" button, to save the selection, "OK".
Step 5
Click the "OK" button to save the settings in the layouts, close the window. Switch the layout by pressing “Ctrl-Shift” or “Alt-Shift”.
