Step 1
Nero software makes life much easier for both the novice video hobbyist and the professional editor. The program has many possibilities. In addition to recording information on discs, it allows you to work with music, record video, compress DVD-9 discs to DVD-5 format (4, 7 GB), copy discs, create your own films and slideshows. One of the useful utilities of the program is to trim video files.
Step 2
To start editing dvd videos, start the Nero program. In the window that opens, select the "Photos and Videos" category. Then, in this section, go to Recode DVD Video. If you bring the mouse to this inscription, you will learn about the capabilities of the program, which is able to convert parts from different sources into mpeg-4 format. Editing files in this program is carried out using the Nero Recode wizard.
Step 3
When you select Recode DVD Video, the Nero Recode window will open. In the list of tasks on the right, click the Import Video button and add the required video file stored on your computer to the project. If you want to trim a video from a disc, then first copy it to your PC's hard drive.
Step 4
After the video appears in the program window, you can start editing it. Go to the "Trim Movie" section and move the slider in each window to specify the start and end points of the movie.
Step 5
When the movie is trimmed, click the "Next" button and proceed to the next step - saving the file. Select the destination folder, specify the folder for storing temporary files. Then click the "Burn" button and wait for the process to finish. You can also save the file to disk. To do this, specify a removable disk in the "Destination" line.
Step 6
