A household vacuum cleaner, which can be used to clean the system unit of a stationary computer, is unlikely to help get rid of dust in a laptop case. Here you need a remedy that works a little differently. A hand pump for air mattresses or a car pump for inflating tires will do the job well. As a last resort, a bicycle pump will do, but you have to work hard! Never use a high pressure compressor to clean your laptop - strong airflow can damage the computer parts.
Step 2
Be sure to turn off your laptop to start cleaning. Open it and blow through the keyboard to start. It is convenient to clean with two people, when one person pumps the pump and the other directs the air stream. When you are finished with the keyboard, examine the laptop and, if you find any ventilation holes on the case, carefully blow all of them with air. You will probably be surprised how much dust lurked in the depths of your mobile assistant. Finish cleaning when no dust will escape from the air jet inside the computer.
Step 3
Now wipe the laptop with a damp tech cloth to remove any dust that has gotten on the laptop case and display. You can turn it on and enjoy the quietness and performance of your prophylactic computer.
