Step 1
Regardless of which program you are trying to patch, the process flow will always be the same. First of all, you need to make sure that you have the latest update (firmware) for your software. You can find out about this only on the official website. Download the program manufacturer's website and check the Download's or Updates section for the latest versions.
Step 2
To quickly download updates to your computer, use special download managers, for example, the free Download Master product. Right-click on the link if the automatic download did not work and select "Copy Link". In the download manager window, click the "+" (Add) button and select the folder where you want to save the file.
Step 3
After downloading the patch, it must be unpacked, if it was in the archive, and run. A window will appear on the screen in which you need to click the Next button. If the installation wizard asks for the location of the program, click the Browse button and locate the folder where the exe (executable) file is located, then click Open.
Step 4
During the installation, you will be presented with several installation options. If you have a choice of 3 installation options, you should always choose Typical. Then follow the prompts of the installation wizard. The last step is to click the Finish button.
Step 5
If during installation the option to reboot the system was not activated or it simply was not there, do it yourself. Click the Start menu and select the Shutdown button and then Restart (for Windows XP), or click the triangle next to this button and then select Restart.

After booting the system, do not forget to open the program window to check if the patch was installed correctly. Click the top menu "Help" and select "About". In the column version of the program, the numbers of the assembly of the product should change.
