Probably, each of us has ever accidentally deleted the necessary data from a flash drive. However, in most cases, such deletions are completely reversible, and you can recover lost files with little effort.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, if you find that the necessary files are missing on the USB flash drive, or if you accidentally delete them, do not write anything else to it. The fact is that the files are not physically deleted, but their headers are erased, and another file can be written in their place. Make sure that after deleting files, nothing else is written to the USB flash drive. This will increase the chances of recovering lost information. Connect the flash card to your computer so that it is recognized as a hard drive and do nothing with it.
Step 2
Download any utility for recovering deleted files (for example, Recuva, which can be downloaded from the link: https://biblprog.org.ua/ru/Recuva/) and install it on your computer. Please note that many utilities are capable of recovering files that have been deleted not only from a USB flash drive, but also from a computer hard drive
Step 3
Start the recovery procedure. To do this, select the area to be analyzed in the program window (in our case, it will be a removable disk). Wait while the program scans the selected media and displays a list of all files available for recovery. The path to it, its size, the date of the last modification, and the approximate status of the probability of recovery are displayed next to the name of the file (or folder). Depending on the settings, the utility can display deleted hidden and system files, as well as display a list of files with zero size. To restore, mark the necessary files and click the "Restore" button after which you will need to specify the location where you want to save the restored folder.
