Step 1

Disassemble the system unit and remove the processor to unlock the multiplier. Find bridges on it. Look at them carefully. There is a groove between the two points that must be connected in order to close the contacts. You can see a thin copper plating in it.

Step 2

If you close the bridges with a pencil or solder, then you will also close the copper substrate, and as a result, it will be very difficult to bring the processor back to life. Therefore, the most important thing in closing the multiplier is to close the bridges so as not to touch the copper sputtering.

Step 3

Fill the grooves with a dielectric, you can use superglue as it. Do this with extreme caution because no glue should get on the bridge contact pad and the groove must be completely filled to provide better insulation. Localize the grooves with tape.

Step 4

To do this, clean the surface of the backing with alcohol or cologne. Place two strips of duct tape, each about a centimeter wide, along the bridge. This must be done so that the tape covers the contact pad, but does not touch the grooves. The resulting slit width should not be more than two millimeters. If the rubber backing is in the way, cut it off.

Step 5

Take two more strips of adhesive tape of the same width, with their help, finally localize the place where you will apply the glue, glue them perpendicular to the existing strips so that only the grooves of the bridges are open. Please note that the tape should stick well and not swell. It must be glued tightly, otherwise glue leakage is possible. After drying, tear off the tape - there should be an even bump of glue on top of the grooves.

Step 6

Using a scalpel, cut off the remains. Once you've got a flat surface, make paths with a liquid conductor, also using tape. After everything is dry, repeat the procedure for all bridges. Next, take a multimeter, ring the tracks for their contact with each other.

Step 7

After that, start overclocking. The features of the closure will be different for different processor models, namely, which bridges need to be connected together to unlock the processor multiplier.
