Any anti-virus program uses a lot of computer system resources. Sometimes, in order to speed up your computer, you need to temporarily disable the anti-virus program. You may need to free up RAM for other programs. If the computer is of medium power, and you need to use several resource-intensive programs at once, then disabling the antivirus will increase the power of the PC.

Instructions
Step 1
After installing any anti-virus program, it will be loaded at the same time as the operating system is turned on. In order to disable the download of the antivirus, therefore, it must be removed from the startup programs. To do this, you need to use the TuneUp Utilities utility. If you do not already have such a program, download and install it on your computer. There are trivial versions of the program on the Internet that are in no way inferior to the paid full versions. Just free versions have a limited period of use, after which you can either refuse to use the program or pay back the license.
Step 2
After installation, launch TuneUp Utilities. When you get to the main menu of the program, select the component "System Optimization". Pay attention to the window that says "Reduce the load on the system." This window contains functions with which you can remove programs from startup. Select the "Disable startup programs" component. You must select this particular component, do not confuse it with the "Disable Programs" function.
Step 3
A window will appear, where there will be information about all programs that are loaded with the start of the operating system. Find in this window the item "Required startup programs". It will contain your antivirus. Opposite the antivirus, move the slider and disable autorun. Close TuneUp Utilities. After completing all operations, restart your computer. After restarting, the antivirus will be removed from startup programs.
Step 4
Now you can run your antivirus whenever you need it. This can be done through the "Start" menu. After you turn on the antivirus, the next time you turn on your computer, it will not be loaded automatically. It is not recommended to disable the antivirus while using the Internet.
