Step 1
In total, there are two options for switching keyboard layouts that can be selected by the user. Each of the options provides for pressing a certain key combination, after which the system sets the replaced input language. Let's consider how to customize the keyboard layout.

Paying attention to the system tray, you will see the symbolic abbreviation "RU" or "EN" on it. Also, instead of symbols, the tray may contain an icon of the Russian or American flag. This area displays the current keyboard layout. To configure the parameters of its switching, you need to click on the language area with the right mouse button and go to the "Parameters" section.

Next, you need to click on the "Keyboard Options" button. In the window that opens, specify the desired layout settings and save the changes. Now language switching will be carried out using the keys you have designated ("Ctrl + Shift", or "Alt + Shift"). You can also set up automatic layout change, for this you need additional software.

Connect your computer to the Internet and open the page of any search service. Through the search engine interface, you need to find a site that allows you to download the Punto Switcher program. It is this program that will automatically change the layout in the future. After the application is downloaded, scan it for viruses. If the installer is not infected, install the program on your computer.
Step 5
Once Punto Switcher is installed on your PC, reboot the system through the Start menu. After the computer is ready to work, the installed application will be placed in startup. Each time you turn on the PC, the program will automatically be activated. Enter an English word in the Russian layout (and vice versa) - it will change to the proper state.
