JavaScript scripts are executed in the browser of the website visitor who loaded the html page. Since this happens directly on the user's computer, it poses a potential threat to his security. As a consequence, all browsers have settings that allow you to disable the execution of JavaScript scripts. However, the active elements of some pages are built in such a way that they cannot function correctly without these scripts.
Instructions
Step 1
To enable JavaScript execution in the Opera browser, open its menu and go to the "Settings" section, and then to the "Quick Settings" subsection. It is not difficult to find the desired item in it - it is marked that way, "Enable JavaScript". There is another way - in the same section "Settings" click the item "General settings" or just press the hotkey combination ctrl + f12. In the settings window, click on the "Advanced" tab, then go to the "Content" section, and then check the box next to "Enable JavaScript".
Step 2
To activate the same setting in the Mozilla FireFox browser, click the "Tools" section in the menu and activate the "Settings" line. In the window that opens, click the "Content" tab and check the box next to the "Use JavaScript".
Step 3
In Internet Explorer, in the "Tools" section of its menu, click the "Internet Options" line. A window will open in which you need to click on the "Security" tab and then click on the "Custom" button. In the "Security Settings" window, look for the "Scripts" section, which contains the "Active Scripts" subsection - check the "Enable" item in it.
Step 4
In the Google Chrome browser, go to the menu and activate the "Options" item. Chrome will open a new page where you need to click on the "Advanced" link. In the "Personal Information" section, click the button labeled "Content Settings", and on the next page opened by the browser, check the box next to the "Allow all sites to use JavaScript (recommended)".
Step 5
If you are using Apple Safari, you need to expand the "Edit" section and click on the "Preferences" line. In the window that opens, click the "Security" tab and in the "Web content" section, check the "Enable JavaScript" box.
