The purchase of a printer for use at home is a common event today. But using a printer comes at a cost that can be significantly reduced if you choose the right one.
In my opinion, in order to make the right choice, you need to determine exactly why you need a printer, what are you going to print and how often?
If there are students in the house, and also if the work of one of the adults requires periodic printing of documents, then it is worth first of all choosing a device that will allow you to print large volumes of documents in the most economical way. In this case, it is better to opt for a laser printer. At one gas station, which is quite affordable for any person, such a printer can print a large amount of texts and diagrams. However, it is not suitable for working with images, even in black and white. The picture is, to put it mildly, not very high quality.
In order to print color schemes, graphics, photographs, you will have to purchase an inkjet printer. To print texts in which headings, paragraphs, words are highlighted, as well as those that contain color schemes, simple drawings, the cheapest inkjet printer will be enough. However, if there is a need to periodically print photos (in good quality), you should choose a printer that the manufacturer has made specifically for this. Such printers print no worse than a special darkroom. But any model of an inkjet printer will have to be refilled quite often, that is, printing with this type of device is very uneconomical.
Attention! When purchasing an inkjet printer, remember that after refueling the device, you will have to print at least one page per month, otherwise the printer will need expensive repairs.
It should also be noted that manufacturers are constantly working on new types of printers. You can buy a color laser printer in the store, the print quality of which is quite good, but the cost of one page printed on such a printer is still high.
