Instructions

Step 1

Open the photo and make a copy of the main layer by pressing Ctrl + J. This copy should be made before each change so as not to damage the main image

Step 2

From the Filter menu, choose Liquify. It is essentially a stand-alone editor with powerful correction tools and highly customizable options. To enlarge the image use Zoom (Loupe), to reduce - the same tool in combination with the Alt key. Hand is used to move the object.

Step 3

To make the lips more plump, select the Bloat Tool from the toolbar. Set the diameter of the brush slightly larger than the size of the object. The Brush Density and Brush Pressure parameters for soft correction should be low, 15-20.

Step 4

The cursor takes the form of a sight - a circle with a cross inside. Hover it over the object and click. The increase in size will occur under the cross.

Step 5

To make the object smaller, use the Pucker Tool. The settings are the same as for the Bloat Tool. Click the mouse where the lips should become thinner and narrower, for example, at the corners of the mouth.

Step 6

An unsuccessful correction can be canceled by clicking Reconstruct. To undo all changes, use the Restore All button. When you are satisfied with the processing results, click OK to save.

Step 7

Copy the image to a new layer again. Press the Q key to enter quick mask editing mode. Set the default colors by pressing D and select a small soft brush from the toolbox.

Step 8

Highlight the lips in the photo, while the fragment is hidden behind a transparent red film. To return to normal mode, press Q again. Now you have the entire face selected in the photo, except for the lips. Press Shift + Ctrl + I to invert the selection and Ctrl + J to copy it to a new layer.

Step 9

Hold alt="Image" and in the layers panel click Add layer mask. Set the Blending Mode to Screen, Opacity 15%. Use a soft, thin brush of white to accentuate the highlights on the lips, or paint if required. Merge layers Ctrl + E

Step 10

Again in quick mask mode, select the lips and copy the selection to a new layer. Apply an inverted layer mask. Set the Blending Mode to Multiply, Opacity 10-15%. Use a thin white brush to trace the outlines of the lips and merge the layers.
