Instructions

Step 1

If you want to place the language bar in the notification area on the "Taskbar", move the mouse cursor to its icon, right-click on it and select the "Minimize" command from the drop-down menu, or click on the [-] button located in the upper right corner language bar.

Step 2

If you need to disable the language bar and remove it from the “Desktop”, right-click on its icon and select the “Close language bar” command from the drop-down menu. This closure does not remove the text input services. The same can be done in another way.

Step 3

Click with the right mouse button in any free space of the "Taskbar". Select "Toolbars" from the drop-down menu. In the expanded submenu, remove the marker from the "Language bar" item by clicking on it with the left mouse button. You can return the display of the language bar in the same way.

Step 4

To customize the display of the language bar, open the "Control Panel" from the "Start" menu. In the Date, Time, Regional and Language category, select the Regional and Language Options icon. In the dialog box that opens, go to the "Languages" tab and click the "Details" button.

Step 5

In the additional window "Language and text input services" that opens, go to the "Options" tab and click on the "Language bar" button in the "Settings" section (located at the bottom of the window). In the Language Bar Options window, uncheck the Show Language Bar on Desktop and Additional Taskbar Icon boxes.

Step 6

Click OK in the Language Bar Options window, click Apply in the Languages and Text Services window, and click Apply in the Regional and Language Options dialog box. Close the last window by clicking the OK button or the [x] icon in the upper right corner of the window.
