Instructions
Step 1
Insert the disk from which you plan to overwrite information into the drive, then wait for it to be detected by the system. As soon as the media is ready for use, the autorun menu will appear on the screen, in which you need to select the "Open" / "Open to view files" option.
Step 2
If the autoload function is disabled, you can navigate to the disc contents as follows. Open the My Computer folder. Here you will see an icon for the active drive. Click on it with the right mouse button and select the "Open" option. You will find yourself in the root folder of the disk. After the contents of the media are available to you, you can copy it.
Step 3
Create an empty folder on your computer. Select all files in the root folder of the disk, then drag them to the directory you created. Depending on the size of the copied files, their transfer may take from a few seconds to several minutes. Alternatively, you can copy the contents of the disc.
Step 4
Select all files and right-click on any of them. Select "Copy" (keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + C"). Open the folder you created earlier and right-click in it. Next, you need to select the "Paste" option (keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + V").
Step 5
After the contents of the disk are copied to the created folder, you can overwrite it to any removable media. Please note that the size of the medium must be equal to (or larger) the size of the files to be recorded. To see the weight of all documents, select them and right-click on any file. Open the "Properties" item. Here you can see the total volume of documents. The information can be recorded both on a CD and on a flash card.
