Modern technologies and a wide variety of software allow any video or audio to be customized to your taste. If you decide to edit a DVD, the most common way is demultiplexing, i.e. disassembly into component parts. However, this is a very complex process that is not always subject to novice users.
Instructions
Step 1
DVD editing in most cases means dividing a video or audio track into several parts, rearranging them and assembling them. You may just need to get individual frames, cut out a certain part of the movie and save the soundtrack you like.
Step 2
Unfortunately, most demultiplexing programs cannot guarantee 100% cut quality. And the desires are different for everyone. You may need to insert some new frames into the video and provide them with comments. To achieve these goals, use a special program, for example, ChopperXP.
Step 3
This utility is very easy to use and does not require any supernatural skills from the user. Just download the installation file from the Internet, run and install on your computer.
Step 4
Open ChopperXP, expand the File menu in the top pane, and select Openvob. After you do this, the explorer will open. Specify the path to the required file. Wait for it to load.
Step 5
Now you can view it directly in the program. Using the special tools also located on the top panel, mark the places you want to cut. To place a mark at the beginning of a fragment, press the MarkIn button. Use the MarkOut button to highlight the end of the region to be cut.
Step 6
To save the selected fragment, go to the File menu again and select the Savevobas item. Navigate to the folder where you want to place the file you just created. Further decomposition of a DVD, or rather a selected fragment, frame by frame is possible only in more professional programs, for example, VobEdit.
Step 7
Now download and install the TMPGEncoder program. With its help, you can edit a movie from several previously cut segments.
